Founded in 2006, Contract Management Direct LTD provides commercial and contract management solutions to market leading organisations of all sizes, helping them to optimise their business outcomes.

Our business model is very simple; we eliminate unnecessary overheads allowing us to provide high quality guidance and support at competitive prices. We do this by using an established network of trusted self-employed Associates that we regularly collaborate with. This removes the need for expensive offices, support staff and eliminates the risk of downtime when not on assignment, all of which comes at a cost.
Having already worked in over 20 countries, we have over 100 experienced and qualified Associates based in locations such as the UK, mainland Europe, North America, India, Australia and the Middle East. Several of our Associates have worked with us on numerous occasions. Our clients range from global household names to smaller niche owner-operator firms. We are proud to have supported some of our current clients for over 10 years.
CMD’s Directors are experienced commercial practitioners who will completely understand our clients’ needs and goals to ensure we deploy the most appropriate member of our team every time.
Unlike the ‘traditional’ Consultancy model, we do not have a fixed team of permanent employees that we constantly need to deploy regardless of suitability, best fit and location. We have access to an established global skill base that is agile and flexible to match our client’s needs.

With 25 years of commercial contract management experience in the private & public sectors, across several markets, advising global buy & sell side organisations on 3 continents with contracts values of up to £3 Billion.

Ranging from ITO accounts in Paris, Financial Services BPO in London, providing contracts training in Asia and the Middle East, naval shipbuilding on the Clyde and as a Commercial Management skills assessor for UK Government. Paul specialises in the negotiation and subsequent management of major IT Outsourcing and BPO contracts. He is an expert in relational contracting and working with strategic trading partners.

Commercially & legally qualified he has provided strategic advice for numerous clients on high-value pursuits and accounts, championing day-to-day commercial activities & long-term process improvements. With a Masters’ Degree in Law and Arbitration he has significant experience in disputes and claims.
